JOB 41
41:1 “Can you draw out Leviathan with a fishhookor press down his tongue with a cord? 2 Can you put a rope in his noseor pierce his jaw with a hook? 3 Will he make many pleas to you? Will he speak to you soft words? 4 Will he make a covenant with youto take him for your servant forever? 5 Will you play with him as with a bird,or will you put him on a leash for your girls? 6 Will traders bargain over him? Will they divide him up among the merchants? 7 Can you fill his skin with harpoonsor his head with fishing spears? 8 Lay your hands on him;remember the battle—you will not do it again! 9 Behold, the hope of a man is false;he is laid low even at the sight of him. 10 No one is so fierce that he dares to stir him up.Who then is he who can stand before me? 11 Who has first given to me, that I should repay him?Whatever is under the whole heaven is mine.ROMANS 8

Life in the Spirit 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. 3 For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, 4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. 6 For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. 7 For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot. 8 Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.The ESV® Bible (The Holy Bible, English Standard Version® copyright © 2001 by Crossway Bibles, a publishing ministry of Good News Publishers.
